Volunteer Ken Thompson Park show-ski team since 1957; 2017 national title. This volunteer show-ski team has staged free public shows on Ken Thompson Park since 1957. Amateur skiers still run ballet lines, pyramids, and ramp jumps on Sarasota Bay — the same 501(c)3 club that won the 2017 national show-ski title.
