Crafty Squirrel
This is Australian owner Josh Cameron's transplant of a back-home tradition: 12 shareable teapot cocktails (the gin Kiwi Cooler, the tequila Hide the Nuts) meant to be passed around a communal table, not sipped solo. It works best as a loud, garage-door-open, spill-onto-Central-Avenue kind of night — 16 TVs for the game early, live DJs and a packed floor late, open until 3 a.m. Go if you want a group hang that slides from happy hour into a rowdy dance night without changing venues; skip it if you're after a quiet craft-cocktail den or a sit-down dinner, because subtle this place is not.
Friday around 4–5 p.m.: you catch the tail of happy hour with the garage doors up and the block still mellow, then let it build into the DJ set and dance floor without ever paying for a second location.
Come with at least four people and split a teapot instead of buying rounds — it's the whole reason the place exists, and it's cheaper and more fun than a table of individual cocktails.
