Cocktail St Pete

This is the loud, sparkly anchor of St. Pete's Grand Central gayborhood, not a hushed cocktail den you go to for a single perfectly-stirred Negroni. It's a gay bar and dance club first: drag shows, a disco ball, cheeky named cocktails, and one of the best happy hours in the city. Go if you want a rowdy, welcoming night out with a dancefloor and a crowd; skip it if you're after quiet conversation or serious craft-cocktail nerdery.

Friday or Saturday, roll in before 9pm to catch the 2-for-1 happy hour, then stay put as the dancefloor and disco ball take over later in the night. If you'd rather day-drink, aim for a 2nd or 4th Sunday when the drag brunch is on.
