Public Beach Access 13

There's no parking here — and that's the point. Access 13 opens onto the south end of Crescent Beach at Point of Rocks, where submerged limestone holds snapper, sheepshead, and the odd nurse shark in water a couple of feet deep. If you can walk or bike in, you skip the twenty-space scramble at Access 12.

Low tide on a calm summer morning, June through September, for the clearest water.

Wear swim shoes — crushed shell and rock cover the entry around the Point.
