Sarasota County allows dogs on exactly one stretch of sand, and this is it. The setup is genuinely for the dogs: a fenced play yard, drinking fountains at dog height, showers to rinse off the salt, and an accessible boardwalk to the beach. Posted signs mark where the dog zone ends and South Brohard's human-only sand begins.
