Sun On the Beach

This is a tourist-strip nightspot, and it doesn't pretend otherwise: it sits on US-192 inside Old Town, the nostalgia-Americana mall a few minutes from the Disney gates, so the crowd is a mix of vacationers who didn't feel like driving to downtown Orlando and locals who show up for karaoke and the theme nights. It's big, unpretentious, and genuinely welcoming rather than cool. Come for the programming — Pride Night, '80s Night, Latin Sundays — not for a scene, and you'll have a good time; show up expecting a slick club and you'll be confused.

Sunday for Latin Night — the live music runs all day (2pm-2am), so roll in around 8pm once the band and the dance floor have warmed up.

Skip the main room when it's slow and post up at the outdoor Gilligan's Tiki patio, where the live music and bar games actually happen on weekend nights.
