Gatorland
Owen Godwin opened this on the old Orlando–Kissimmee highway in 1949, and the Godwin family never sold out to the resort era. It just kept being itself: 110 acres of alligators and crocodiles (grown from the original 16), a zip line strung over the breeding marsh, and gators launching out of the water for whole chickens at the Jumparoo show. It's the last of old, weird Florida still standing on the tourist strip.
The 'Alligator Capital of the World' since 1949. Stronger shows (Gator Jumparoo), a breeding marsh boardwalk with wild birds, the white leucistic gators, and a zip line over the alligator pens for the brave.

Alligator shows, ziplining over the breeding marsh, and animal exhibits.
Old-Florida roadside attraction that never modernised itself into blandness, with alligators, zip lines and shows running all day.
Late morning, to catch the Gator Jumparoo feeding before the afternoon heat sends the animals into the shade.
Ask a keeper where the rare white leucistic gators are — they're not up front by the entrance.
